Christian is a Vampire, turned during the June Rebellions in France, 1832, at the tender age of 29. His sire, Eliazar, had found him dying in a gutter and had seen something in the young man. Thus, Christian's life was changed forever, as Eliazar shared with him his dreams of vampires finally being on top of the pecking order for once.

While trying to adjust to his new life and the conflict he felt over Eliazar's plans, Christian killed Eliazar's wife, going on the run from his sire and brother. Throughout the years, Christian was determined to be a different man, but the call to arms would always be heard by him. He fought in many wars, coming close to death many times, but he survived long enough to become a member of the French Ministry, working as a member of the ICoW.

Not long afterwards, he was asked to be the Minister for Magic, a position he took and loved for many years. He fought with Pyralis to stop Sovereign and Hydra, meeting a woman there he quickly fell in love with. Christian was no stranger to love, as throughout his two hundred and thirty years he had been married a few times before, but he was getting old, and the thought of watching her grow old and slip away from him gnaws at the back of his mind.

Since Pyralis' victory over Hydra, Christian has "stepped down" as the Minister for Magic, effectively told that there is no place for vampires in this world anymore. He sought out his sire, finally agreeing to become a part of his vampire army, although he has plans to stop him.

Agatha is a Ravenclaw graduate, born the day before Halloween and so loves the season. She did quite well at Hogwarts, studying whenever she had the chance, which wasn't as often as she'd like because she had a distraction: Alec Weyland.

The two began to date during their years at Hogwarts but it was pretty clear to Agatha they could never be anything more. This upset her, as she didn't want to just keep casually seeing someone. Not long after leaving Hogwarts she met Bayram Osman, a man her parents really approved of. He adored her, showing her with attention and love, and she agreed to marry him, despite the slight difference in age.

Eventually, Agatha grew to love her muggle husband, but his work meant they spent so little time together. He worked on the GMS Kobold for a time, and when he was away for a few months Agatha found herself back in contact with Alec. They began to have an affair, but now Bayram has left the Kobold and is home all of the time, making things difficult for her. She wants to be with her husband and have a family with him more than anything, but she finds herself asking "what if?" about Alec.

Kaja was born in the small fishing village of Aarhus in Denmark to a single mother, who tried her hardest to raise her. Although Kaja showed signs of magic, she didn't really get a chance to use it, never attending a magical school or even wanting to learn about the subject. She was far too busy learning the tricks of the trade from her mother, occasionally picking up things from the sailors coming through.

As a result she knows the most basic of spells, but much preferred to spend time in the kitchen, helping her mother feed the fishermen of the village. When her mother passed away, she continued to run the café her mother had owned, but found herself longing for something more. That was when she met Elijah. The two had a whirlwind romance, and when he left she discovered she was pregnant.

Kaja gave birth to a baby girl, raising her on her own. The two were close, and when Joan decided to join the Danish army, Kaja was proud. But she still worried, and so when Joan didn't come home from her second tour she was devastated. Trapped in a town with so many memories haunting her, Kaja did the only thing she could this of - she ran. She eventually found her way to Copenhagen, where the GMS Kobold was waiting. They were in need of a chef, so she joined.

After a while aboard the ship, she found herself getting involved with Euan, the chief engineer aboard the Kobold, and it was shortly after this that Elijah joined the crew. Kaja told him about their child and her fate, and is now trying to juggle life on board now that her past has caught up to her.

Helga is the youngest of the Eivindork children, and as a result feels pretty insignificant. She is naive and very easily manipulated, often making her a fool. She doesn't fit in with her family, especially her older sisters, as they have spent a lot of time dating and getting married. Not Helga.

Helga isn't good at relationships. She's too soft, and so they never seem to last. Plus, working takes up a lot of her time and she has Thumper to look after. Thumper is a rabbit she received from Viggó, her sister's first husband, for her birthday. The two had begun to grow close, but then he disappeared.

Not long afterwards Wesley went off too without a word, although now he has come back. Right now, Helga is glad to have her best friend back with her, unaware that he has feelings for her, and is concentrating on doing well in the film she has just been cast in.

Róisín is a lot like most mothers you see in TV and Film. She seems like a soft and lovable mother, but should her children step out of line or anyone tries to mess with them, the momma bear comes out. She was the "mean" parent growing up, being strict with the children to keep them well behaved. She doesn't mind being the mean one. Someone had to bring the discipline to the lives of her children, and so she is more than willing to open her mouth and say what needs to be said in the moment.

She very much loves her job, enjoying being busy, although she does have to sometimes deal with slackers. When she does, that is when you see the more ferocious side to her. Róisín is an animagus, able to transform into a brown bear, which is oddly fitting for her personality. This Momma Bear absolutely loves her family, although she cannot wait for her children to give her grandchildren. She isn't getting any younger, you know!

Sophia was born in France, although shortly afterwards she moved to London to live with her father. She spent a lot of time travelling between London and France after her parents' rather messy divorce, eventually beginning her study at Beauxbatons where she found some consistency in her life.

She is the type of person who enjoys comfortable silences, a good book, and sunny weather, though she finds just as much joy in watching the rain falling while she is safe and warm indoors. When she finished school, she began to work in the ministry, where she met David. He well and truly swept her off her feet, making her feel safe in a world where she felt she had to hide who she was. They have had their rough patches, briefly separating for a while before working things out again, and now they are awaiting the arrival of their first child!

Sam seems to be a pretty simple guy on the surface. Like many his age, he enjoys unwinding by playing video games (going by the name Sledgehammer09 online), playing sports when the weather is good, and going out drinking with friends.

The fact that he also turns into a werewolf once a month isn't a big issue to him. It was when it first happened, but he accepts that it was his fault. Sam's brother, Liam, had been bitten a long time ago, and Wolfsbane did nothing to help him. Sam was stupid one night, going to check on his brother only to find himself getting bitten. In the morning, Liam was gone, and Sam is trying to track him down... although rather unsuccessfully so far. Mainly, he's just pissed off that his brother has done a runner on them, since no-one even knows if he is alive, so things are going to be interesting when Sam eventually gets his hands on Liam.

At the moment though, his thoughts are often distracted by his best friend, Jennifer. He has feelings for her, he knows he does, but she's married to an asshole and he can't change that. Instead he will just be there to pick up the pieces when things go wrong, always with a hug for her if she needs it.

Josephine's parents lived in Spain for a while, but as soon as she was old enough after her parents split, she began to travel. She moved to the UK, eventually beginning to work in a brothel. She had always been good with people, but this world seemed to suit her.

After a while she joined an escort agency, but found that she had to work harder for her money than she'd like. That was when she went independent, adopting the name Alicia Lane and cutting all ties to the agency and the brothel she used to work in.

As she got older, she found that she got more clients. She was, after all, a mature escort. Josie loves the freedom that being an escort has given her. She has complete control over everything, and while sex is on the menu, you don't pay for it. Instead, you pay for her time and companionship. Anything else that happens is between two consenting adults, and when the police try to slap her wrist for it she tells them just that.

She isn't the kind of woman to take shit from others. If you don't agree with her line of work, that's your problem. She knows the truth about the world of escorting.

Carver Rainier is your typical boy born into a rich pureblood family. His parents brought him up to believe he was superior to others because of both his wealth and his pureblood status, and he still carries this belief and privilege with him. Unsurprisingly, he was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts. He was spoiled as a child, always getting what he wants, so on the few occasions he doesn't he angers very easily.

He is quite cruel at times, taking a lot after his father. Being the only one to continue the Rainier family line, there is a lot of pressure on his shoulders, and his father wants him to marry soon so he can have children. With so few purebloods in the world, thanks to the watering down of the lines, there are few suitable candidates.

Carver has managed to convince his parents that Aveline would be the perfect wife for him. She is soft, weak, and easy to manipulate. She has the potential to be great if she just hardens up, and if not then she won't do anything without Carver's permission. Aveline's parents are also happy with the idea. Now all he has to do is convince her to marry him and the deal is done.

Dorian was born in Canada but he has spent a great deal of time moving around for work. He enjoys being a lawyer, although it is nothing like it seems on the television. It requires a lot more paperwork and grinding, ensuring he is often left tired.

It is through his work as a lawyer he met Claudia, who has quickly become his best friend. However, he is hiding a secret from her. Dorian has never been happy as a wizard, feeling as though it simply makes him a target. Claudia does not know he is a wizard, and while he feels guilty for keeping it from her, he knows it is for their own good.

He seems like a difficult person to know and understand, as he has a rather dark sense of humour. Not many people get it, meaning he comes across as a bit of a loner. He isn't a perfectionist, which makes his job a hell of a lot more enjoyable. He doesn't get worked up when things go wrong. People are flawed. That's what makes them human. He sits well and truly in the grey are of life... he is not wholly bad or wholly good.

Leopold is one of the older Dürer children, and so that has made him pretty arrogant. Well, that and the fact that his position on a top Quidditch team has people throwing themselves at him. He enjoys the use of magic and how much easier it has made his life, meaning he has time to slack off more.

He's cocky and confident, and pretty much always believes that he is right. He tends to become very childish about some things, lacking maturity at times and making people doubt that he is actually one of the oldest of all his siblings. This childish nature means he flies into fights, both on and off the pitch, quickly.

He's actually broken every bone in his body at some point, and has a fair number of scars to prove it. He plays both for the Wasps and the German national team, getting himself a lot of publicity. That is making his relationship with Yasemin complicated. They see each other, a lot of each other, but they don't quite know where they stand. They still want to keep it quiet, though... but it isn't going to stay that way for long.

Roberta is the youngest of two children and has a half-brother. Living in Edinburgh in a council house, her and her brother often got into trouble, and so when Bobbi found out she had magic, it gave her the chance to get away from the gangs of the city.

She went to Hogwarts, being sorted into Slytherin and doing her best to get through school. She was, of course, drawn into her brother's gang every time she went home, and it was then she met Ashton. She and Ash ended up falling into bed together a few times, but then he suddenly disappeared. Feeling a bit pissed off, and with no other distractions when school was finished, Bobbi threw herself into gang life.

She wasn't an official member, Octavius wouldn't have that, but she did her part. She went with the gang one night when they were going to give someone a working over, breaking in to find a werewolf. It lashed out, Bobbi escaping with a nasty bite on the back of her leg. She woke up in St. Mungo's alone, her brother having done a runner and disowning her.

She began to take odd jobs to survive, eventually finding a position she loved at Gem's. Working the pole gave her a chance to let out her frustration, but she still wasn't sure of what being a wolf met. She eventually ran into Ian and his wolf pack, joining them and loving this new lease of life it gave her. She developed a crush on Ian, one she is still trying to deal with. Now Ashton and Octavius are back in her life, and Bobbi is just trying to deal with what that means.

Kawikani is an only child, born in Hawaii, and has spent a lot of his time travelling the world and looking for work. He is a bit of a gym buff, enjoying working more than partying and drinking, and through this world and the fights he might sometimes get into, he has turned into something of a muscle for hire, although he much prefers to call himself a private investigator.

He walks hard to keep himself on top, trying to look after himself and his own interests above all else, but that doesn't mean he is cold. He cares about others... it's just that he has a tendency to be selfish and put himself and his life as a priority over others. Once upon a time he had begun to help others, making a real difference in the world, but he and Lavanya stepped on the wrong toes.

As a result, he found himself kidnapped and tortured for information. He gave them her location, although not a recent one, and then they cut out his tongue. He has lost 90% of his visible tongue and is trying to learn to speak again, but finding it difficult. Now he has finally tracked Lavanya down again and isn't sure what is going to happen next.

Santiago is not a very nice man. He is the middle child of three children, born to a mother and father who couldn't care less about them. His older brother was the one to raise them, showing him that you sometimes had to do what was necessary in life to survive.

The brothers travelled around the country, eager to make their own way and prove they were better than their roots. It never works out that way, though, does it? Santiago really tried to make a go of it as a normal guy, even meeting and settling down with Jennifer, but then things changed.

He found himself involved in the mob, and he began to change to his former self. He became violent and abusive towards his wife, blaming her for many of the things that were going wrong in his life.

Now he is starting many affairs, although he insists that they aren't really affairs if he doesn't get emotionally attached to them, and is doing whatever it takes to get what he wants from life... even if it means crossing a line. After all, some rules are made to be broken.

Andromeda, prefers to be called Andi, but tolerates being called by her full name, is the second oldest of the Steele-Hathaway children. Growing up she was always closer to her mother, and so when she remarried she was happy for her. She didn't hold the same suspicions about it like her baby brother did.

She also doesn't quite understand Quidditch. She watches matches and always goes to the stadium when the Wasps play to support her brother Wash, but she doesn't get the rules. He's explained them to her so many times but they just don't make sense, and so she jokes that it is just 14 people playing with their balls in public. Even with the Wasps' manager, Xander, explaining the rules, she is still clueless. S

he prefers to spend time in the garage at home, working on whatever car someone has dropped off for her to look at. It has become Andi's job, which is perfect for her. She can work when she wants, and it means she can have Maggie close by, just in case.

Since the age of 11, Andie has suffered with epilepsy. She takes medication for it, which mostly keeps it under control, but she still has seizures. They just aren't as severe as they used to be. Maggie is her seizure alert dog, warning her when she needs to go and lie down to protect herself. Despite this she doesn't see herself as vulnerable.

She is still sarcastic and jokey about everything (hence the Quidditch players and their balls joke) and doesn't like to be handled with kid gloves.
